MEET DR. OMER ZUBAIR

I am Dr. Omer Zubair, Consultant Trauma and Orthopedics Surgeon from England where I worked for 15 years. I had my basic and advanced Trauma and Orthopedic training in England where I was trained in covering all aspects of orthopedics.

After completing FRCS T&O I did Zimmer Knee Fellowship at the University Hospital of Southampton under Prof Chapman-Sheath, covering all aspects of knee surgery including primary and revision knee arthroplasty, Unicompartmental Knee replacements, PFJ replacements, High Tibial Osteotomies and ACL work including redo ACLs. 

Following this I did my second fellowship which was Arthrex Sports Injury and Upper Limb Fellowship at University Hospital of Cardiff and Wales with Mr Angus Robertson, Mr Richard Evans and Mr Tim Matthews covering sports injuries of Knee, Shoulder and Elbow. This fellowship provided me the opportunity to learn the skills of diagnosis and managing Sports Injuries of Knee and Shoulder including ACL, PCL, MLKI, Patellar Instabilities, Shoulder Stabilization procedures both soft tissue and bony and Shoulder replacements and Elbow instability work.

Following the completion of my Fellowships, I started working as Knee and Sports Injury Consultant at York and Scarborough Hospital, UK.

In 2022, I decided to return back to Pakistan and joined National Hospital Lahore as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopedics
